I purchased 6 ‘Pray for the Family Bibles as Christmas 2023 presents for myself, my husband, our 2 adult daughters and 2 son-in-laws. (The extra one will be a gift to someone who God leads me to). I am 58 years old and a Christ follower since childhood. In my forties, I began morning devotions and prayer and it made a positive difference. I have encouraged our family to do the same. I have challenged our family to begin on Jan 1 2024, using the ‘Pray for The Family Bible’ and read through it each day for the next year. It is Jan 5th-we’re 5 days in and love it! I love the way this Bible is designed—old and New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs—and especially the prayer for each day. I pray that with reading this Bible, our family gains a closer relationship with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit and a deeper understanding of his Word. I also pray that we will shine for Him and point others to Him. God bless.
