Mark and Jill Savage review their contentious marriage story — quote: “We’ve been married 34 years, 25 of them happily” and describe some of the common challenges couples face.  Jill describes how she experienced a brief temptation during the early years of their marriage, and how she and Mark worked at creating healthy boundaries for their relationship. The Savages then describe the combination of factors that led to infidelity in their marriage — Mark turned 50 and experienced a midlife crisis, he was severely depressed, felt far away from God and finally walked away from his marriage and family to pursue an affair for 3 months.  Mark and Jill then describe the healing and restoration process they experienced, and how they are working to strengthen not only their marriage but other marriages as well.
