Lord, Keep Us Free I-II

This two-day broadcast features a prerecorded message given by Maria (Hansi) Hirschmann. 

In this story of danger, escape and the search for truth and meaning, Hansi Hirschmann describes growing up in a foster home in Czechoslovakia under the Nazi Third Reich, her years in Prague as a Nazi Youth Leader, her time in and escape from a Communist labor camp and the help she received from the American troops in Germany. She says truth is not a doctrine, philosophy or a religion; truth is a person—Jesus Christ—who she found. Hansi continues her story by relating her growing relationship with Christ, her emigration to the U.S. and learning to enjoy the freedom we have here. She encourages listeners to avail themselves of the freedom which they take for granted and to teach their children to appreciate the freedom they have. She pays tribute to the military for their sacrifice for freedom and urges everyone to return to God in order to maintain that freedom.
