The Singing Bible

My son absolutely loves it! He always asks to hear it. We are only on the 2nd CD because he keeps asking us to repeat the song. He's a toddler. One of the best things I have bought him!

I thought this was very good and give it for presents.

This is a great price for a wonderful CD. I was looking for a gift to celebrate the birth of my niece's son. I asked my children (ages 16 to 25) and they all had great memories of listening to this CD and learning about the Bible. I hope my great-nephew will enjoy it as much.

Neat CD and good songs however I don’t like that the talking is linked to the songs and not separate tracks so the actual song/music parts of the disk can be played on their own. You have to listen from beginning to end sort of thing.

First I want to thank you for being generous enough to send it when my credit was for only half its selling price. That was extremely generous. I am a little concerned about so many Bible stories and music and stories with moral teaching being presented with so much animation and cartoon like styles. Understand the good reasons for which it is done. Just wondering if it does not subject the content into a context of comic entertainment that is taken for its amusement value more than a challenge to actually live under biblical authority. I’m a grandma, so perhaps I am totally out of touch.

How do you purchase without listening? No samples anywhere online.

I purchased this for my 2-year-old daughter, and we listen to it in the car- it's the best place to listen and learn the stories as we're all sitting still. She definitely loves it and requests it whenever we try to listen to anything else lol. One caveat is that as Catholics, I somehow thought Focus on the Family was a Catholic organization. Unfortunately, the first couple of songs focus on the errant 66 books of the Bible, as the protestants removed seven important books from the 73 that we as Catholics know. For this reason, we skip the first couple of introductory songs and go right to Genesis, as I don't want her to learn the songs and memorize this error. Other than that, I am grateful to have found this resource and I do hope it helps her to become more knowledgeable on her Bible stories at this young age!
