Terms of Use
By accessing any area of FocusOnTheFamily.ca (the "Website") including the Online Bookstore, the user acknowledges this notice, and agrees to the terms and conditions set out below. Except where stated otherwise, the terms "Focus on the Family" and "Focus Canada" shall be deemed to include Focus on the Family (Canada) Association and its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors and assigns.
Trademarks and Copyrights
All materials contained in the Focus on the Family Websites ("Online Material") are the copyrighted property of Focus on the Family. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary to Focus on the Family. No Online Material from our Websites may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, except that you may download one copy of the materials on any single computer for your personal, non-commercial home use only, provided that you:
1. Retain all copyright, trademark and propriety notices,
2. You make no modifications to the materials,

Visitors may post product reviews and other communications, so long as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable, and does not consist of or contain political campaigning, commercial solicitation, or any form of "spam" or unsolicited commercial electronic messages. You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of the posted content. Focus on the Family (Canada) Association reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit such content, but does not regularly review posted content. Focus on the Family (Canada) Association reserves the right not to publish, or to remove any content they deem, in their sole discretion, to be inappropriate for the website, for any reason whatsoever.
If you do post content, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant Focus on the Family (Canada) Association a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right to use, produce, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, perform, sub-license, translate, distribute, communicate to the public by telecommunications and display such content throughout the world in any media. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The Website and the Online Bookstore (excluding linked websites) are controlled by Focus on the Family (Canada) Association from its offices within the Province of British Columbia, Canada. The Website can be accessed from all the provinces and territories of Canada, as well as from other countries around the world. As each of these jurisdictions have laws that may differ from the Province of British Columbia, by accessing the Website, the User agrees that all matters relating to access to, or use of, the Website, or any other hyperlinked website, shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The User also agrees and hereby submits to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the Province of British Columbia and acknowledges that the User does so voluntarily and is responsible for complying with local laws.
