I always wondered if near death experiences lined up with scripture. Turns out, it lines up with the Bible, and NDE are also consistent from non-Christians! LOVED this book. It strengthened my faith and made me rethink the depth of my need for Jesus and my God-given purpose in this life. Will not be lending this book for fear I'll never get it back. Buy more than copy to share. Seriously, you're welcome.

I was so impressed with the FOTF interview with John Burke that I had to buy a copy for each of my children and grown grandchildren for Christmas , with a note to each inside saying “because I want to see you there one day “.

I've not read it yet. I ones I ordered I ended up giving for gifts..:) I heard the program on Focus on the Family Podcast with the author and ordered them for my 3 boys and gave the 4th one to my neighbor that started snow blowing my driveway out of the goodness of his heart. I gave it a 5 star rating because I know it'll be good from listening to the podcast :) I need to order another one..

The content of this book brought me so much peace and joy. Hearing the accounts of the near death experiences brought heaven so alive..the delight in the beauty, the peace, the joy, the love ..knowing so many of my loved ones , some of whom persevered through so many things, are there experiencing their reward. It clarified some things in my mind and gave me perspective on how to live my life here more effectively, and a renewed hope in the future life I have to look forward to .

A great book! Gives every christian something to look forward to. It gives us a reason and perspective on how to live your life here on earth, looking forward to an eternity of life with our creator and our saviour!

This book has given me a richer understanding of what happens when people die, what heaven is like and all that Jesus has prepared for his children! I highly recommend this book for anyone who would like to be encouraged or share their faith in Christ!
