Helping Your Kids Identify Their Strengths
Details
Based on their belief that every child has God-given greatness within them, Brandon and Analyn Miller have learned to influence the natural momentum of their kids’ talents, shifting to a collaborative, strengths-based, motivational parenting approach. As the parents of seven children who range in age from elementary school to adult, the Millers have had many opportunities to test and refine this parenting methodology. While Brandon and Analyn are by no means the perfect parents, they’ve laid out what works for their family and hope to encourage other parents. They’ve identified 5 “E’s” for gauging your child’s strengths – their enthusiasm, ease, excellence, energy and enjoyment. These characteristics will help you discover what your child loves to do. The Millers outline ways parents can grow in their own strengths while helping their children grow in theirs.
