Helping Your Kids Know God Better

Chap Bettis wants to help moms and dads be more intentional about sharing the Gospel with their children. Chap believes the Great Commission in Matthew 28 is also a command for parents and he warns against child-centric families where parents make an “idol” out of trying to raise perfect children. Chap also addresses “pharisee parenting” where moms and dads need to be sure their own walk with the Lord is solid before preaching to their kids. He identifies 3 common myths parents have – (1) that the perfect family environment will guarantee Christian children, (2) that pursuing your child’s salvation is more important than your own, and (3) your child’s salvation is all up to you.
