Doesn't capture younger children

I felt it was written more for teen or adult age rather than young children. As I read the story to my granddaughter I was having to paraphrase most of the book in hopes she would be able to understand. Heaven is a place God prepared for those of us who have accepted his son Jesus as their saviour. It is the most beautiful place we can ever imagine. There will be no more hurting, crying, pain or anything else bad. We will never have to say goodbye to those we love. Everything will be perfect and wonderful. It is perfect because Jesus is there.
