Understanding Your Child's Love Style I-II

You can raise healthy, relationally-secure children! In this broadcast, Jim Daly and John Fuller talk with Milan and Kay Yerkovich about their book, How We Love Our Kids. They discuss the five love styles that parents have: avoider, pleaser, vacillator, controller, victim and how they manifest themselves in how they parent. They also discuss how each of these styles apply to children and how parents can work through them to help their children become healthy and secure. They also discuss the importance of how you can teach children empathy by using “soul words.” Program concludes giving a word of hope to the parent with older children who feels it is too late for them to develop a healthier relationship with their children.
