I am loving this series. The writers have given insight on how things might have played out during Jesus time here on earth. I don't have that kind of imagination so it gives a lot to think about, and what people might have been like.

Dallas Jenkins and his team do an exceptional job of sticking to the biblical narrative of Christ’s ministry as he gives more depth to the characters. It’s excellent to show friends who have questions about the Bible and Jesus. Because Canada is probably going to have a censorship law, we felt behooved to purchase this so we can show it to people and watch it again as we anticipate anything “Christian” will not be allowed.

An amazing account of Jesus ministry as told via the gospels of Matthew and Luke. Jesus' character is presented in such a "human" way and disciples' struggles and interactions with each other are so compelling!! We are using this to spread the gospel!

I love this series and I'm trying to be patient for the third season. Seeing what it could very well have been like for Jesus and the disciples is a joy. Completely recommend these DVDs.

wonderful, I am enjoying season 2 just as much as season 1. Beautifully done, I feel closer to my Savior then ever . YOU ALL have brought these stories of Christ and His followers to life. They have become more, I don,t have the right words but I have all the right feelings.

We haven't watched all of the episodes, but have thoroughly enjoyed and been impacted by what we have watched so far. They are very well done.

I have already viewed Chosen #1 which was fantastic - to help one be somewhat more aware of the times and places the disciples and Jesus travelled. Of course the Bible, God's Word, is the ultimate story teller, but these two videos # 1 and #2 help bring the stories alive. I also love how the videos emphasize the everyday common characteristics of the disciples. Haven't quite completed viewing #2 - but anxious to do so. I share these with my Bible Study girl friends - who also really enjoy them.

I bought the Chosen season two for a friend. I have watched most of it online and love it. I did purchase The Chosen season one and love everything about it, when I hear a sermon in church the people from your Chosen stories come alive in my mind. My favorite characters are Peter, his wife, and Matthew....thank you for your determination, your detail to putting truth into the Chosen, and the amazing job you are doing, it is the best job of the bible I have ever seen.

Season 2 helped me to understand in a greater way the love and acceptance that Christ has for us. ...that He chooses ordinary people to be his disciples.

Helped disciples become humanized. Didn't have much figured out just knew they needed to follow. I can relate.

We are still in the process of watching this wonderful series, but so far, it has been wonderful. The story line highlights the life and ministry of our Lord and his disciples. Although it is not a documentary, it is a excellent narrative of how things may have been when Jesus walked the earth. It has helped my husband and I to be more aware of the role of each of the disciples and their relationship with Jesus. We have fallen in love with Matthew, the tax collector who Jesus called to follow Him, and he did so with no hesitation even though he knew tax collectors were not well thought of in those days. I highly recommend this series of The Chosen for all those who are seeking Jesus, or want to know Him better.

Extremely well done. Very powerful. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the dvds and sometimes even binge watched!

I bought this DVD set for someone else for a Christmas gift. They had already seen Season 2 of The Chosen on the app but wanted to have a physical copy to rewatch and to lend to others. A well made and thought provoking show!
